The Fabulous Find is a 501c3 non-profit corporation, listed by the IRS under the name A Caring Community. We were founded in 2010 by a small group of Seacoast Maine and New Hampshire women who had a vision for a non-profit resale boutique that would benefit a variety of other worthy non-profits in the seacoast region. Starting off in a sub-let retail space on State Road in Kittery, Maine, with a volunteer board, skeleton staff, dedicated volunteers and donors from the community, we were off and running.

    It has become as much a small community center as it is an attractive shop. With help from the community, in 2013 we were able to purchase our own building just a few hundred yards away, and this has helped us grow into the bright and cheerful, bustling resale boutique that we are today.

    We partner with our recipients each month and encourage them to use their contact lists to drive up merchandise donations and sales, as all profits benefit them at the end of their month. Our recipients benefit many facets of our community, including the arts, education, the environment, Womenaid groups, children, veterans, animals, food, fuel, physical and mental health, etc. In the past 11 years The Fabulous Find has given over $2,700,000 to over 160 area non-profits!

    Our hope is to keep growing and supporting the Seacoast as much as we can, and continuing our networking with all the wonderful groups we have come to know.
